Release Notes

Highlights:

• Improved telemetry pulse detection. Detection now adapts to the local noise floor and is more resistant to interference.
• Improved the signal meter to better reflect detection strength over a broader range.

Controls and Interface:

• PTT no longer changes receiver modes or controls scanning. All it does now is wake an inactive backlight.
• Scan is now used to toggle scanning on/off.
• The startup screen displays the installed firmware version in Logo mode.
• The status line now shows a padlock icon while the keypad is locked.

Fixes and Internal Improvements:

• A newly flashed receiver is automatically sanitized for SPOT use, including valid telemetry defaults and a starter channel when no channels are present.
• Reprogramming with fewer channels now correctly recovers from a previously selected channel that no longer exists.
• Reworked SPOT channel and list storage for more reliable channel navigation, programming, and future expansion.

This is an Alpha release. Do not depend on it as your only telemetry device.
